Summer has finally arrived. I always love the atmosphere June brings — it is a time of year filled with growth and energy. The best time to be out in nature, exploring the beautiful places we live in. The greenery fills my heart with joy every time I take a peek out of the window. I am planning a road trip soon, up to northern Ontario, looking forward to see how I can be inspired.

Shop Opening - June 22

The diptych - the only limited edition print

Something about Colorado makes people move as though stillness would be a waste. The trail runners I met on Mount Sanitas were already on their second lap by the time I was halfway through my first — grinning, effortless, greeted me for a second hello before they were gone again. I never did find a place to sit on top of the mountain. So I borrowed the runner's resiliency instead: I squatted the whole time I painted, and the view asked nothing more of me than that.

The only limited edition print I will be carrying in my shop is Mount Sanitas — and you are the first to see it. I have kept it as a surprise for now. This is the first diptych and one of my most cherished pieces created in the summer of 2024. When the two panels hang together, they hold something a single painting cannot — the breath between one moment and the next. Once these are gone, this edition closes. There will not be a reprint.

This edition comes in two sizes. Each size consists of two panels — the measurements below refer to each individual panel.

The 8×10 (small) has 50 prints available. Hung as a pair with a 1" gap between panels, the work spans approximately 21" wide × 8" high on your wall.

The 17×22 (large) has 15 prints available. Hung as a pair with a 2" gap between panels, the work spans approximately 46" wide × 17" high on your wall.

Every print, regardless of size, is hand-signed.

5 more days. Thank you for being here when it opens.

Warmly,

Wendy - linghux
